The grid references refer to Landranger sheet 153. Where the reference is shown as "?" the location of the site has yet to be decided,  so contact us for further details.

If you wish to make your own way, please Email us a couple of days before hand so we have some idea of numbers. Also, tasks very occasionally change, and we can update you in time.

Bring your lunch, we provide the tea breaks. Dress warm.

WOODLAND WORK

We are back at the mill, coppicing and pollarding the willows that grow along the mill race and River Ouse. A nice and easy way to start the year and work off some of the Christmas excesses. I expect we will have a big fire, so if it is cold, you can keep warm when you stop moving. Plenty of parking, see you there.

A typical footbridge built by volunteers.

13 January
Flitwick Wood, Flitwick
GR 024 350

A minibus departs at 9.30am prompt on the day of each task from the Market car park (opposite the Boulevards shopping centre) in the centre of Bedford. It returns by 5PM approx. In the very rare occasions where transport is not provided, then this will be clearly stated in the task programme.
